My husband has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. Apparently, the cancer is very treatable when it is caught early, and we have every hope that my husband will be fine. However, he will need radiotherapy. And I am sure it is not as easy as the doctors make it out to be. I really wonder what the side effects of the radiotherapy will be. Can anyone tell me more?

Some common side effects of radiotherapy are tiredness, stiff joints and muscles, nausea and vomiting and a loss of appetite. Hair loss is also very common, and a sore skin and dry mouth happen to many patients undergoing radiotherapy as well. It is a tough time, but I am sure you will both get through it! All the best!
