I am 14 weeks pregnant and thinking about the swine flu vaccine. Swine flu scared the ^%$£ out of me, especially when I heard that some people were in a coma from swine flu. But the newspapers have been full of the dangers of the swine flu vaccine too, so now I am in two minds about the whole thing. What are the side effects of the swine flu vaccine in pregnancy and what do you think is safer? Taking the swine flu vaccine or not?

As far as I know, pregnant women are more susceptible to the swine flu than other people, and therefore you should be getting the swine flu vaccine. There are some potential side effects from the swine flu vaccine, but I think these amount to a low grade fever and perhaps a skin rash. That beats having the swine flu, doesn't it?
