I am 26 yrs old. About 2 months ago I had a cervical exam called the HSG not sure what it stands for but I was referred to have one done after I explained to my GYN that I was in a relationship engaging in unprotected sex during several ovulation cycles and not becoming pregnant. The test consisted of the injection of some type of radioactive dye to X-ray as it traveled through my cervix and falopean tubes. The results came back perfect, and tubes were clear so nothing is wrong and I was advised to keep trying. The test had to be formed DURING my period so its not due for another 28 days. The week before my cycle was expected to commence I began spotting tiny dark beads of blood and a serasangious (clear blood tinged) discharge. The day my cycle actually started it became normal. Lasted a whole cycle at a moderate flow. Month 2 after HSG the same thing happened! Now its month three (cycle 3) and I visited my GYN and let him know my symptoms and the fact that this occurred after that exam for TWO CONSECUTIVELYL cycles. He did a culture and told me I had BV. Prescribed me trindamax and sent me on my way. I researched this pill and saw that it can not only cure BV but Trich as well! I am not pregnant as I found in discussion the same symptom except while pregnant, I do not believe my partner has given me Trich, and the small blood clot beads are back right before my next cycle! What should I do? Can I be pregnant?
