Hi two years ago a soft pinky lump appeared on the roof of my mouth .The Dentist saw in in a routine inspection. He called it a type of polyp .He said that it was not sinister. but if it grew i would have problems with my dentures not sitting properly .Well it has grown and now when i put my dentures in in the morning ,My Husband cant understand me speaking until the dentures settle down..Today i had to take my Grandchildren for an inspection .So i mentioned to the Dentist that the polyps had grown .He looked at it and he said it has gone larger but its like a pink fleshy piece that should be removed for comfort. He told me to come back and see him after Christamas ,and he would refer me to a hospital where this could be removed .Any one else had this done as i am scared stiff.

Has anyone had polyps removed from the roof of their mouth? I am asking this question as I have to have polyps removed from the roof of my mouth. The dentist told me it's nothing to worry about, but I am worried. What is your experience?
