Dear fellow addict my first name is Leif and that is all that is needed to know about me personally. I have fought every addiction know to man from long term methadone to clonazepam,Xanax, to long term soma abuse! In these experiences I've shed more tears of pain and agony then can be told through words, they come from true experience. My friend I know all to well the feeling that killing myself was the only answer but, I am still here. All the things you speak of i hear and understand all to well all to well! I am not a doctor and do not calm to be and my answer to your question is going to be shorting then you might care for but it is my answer and my story YOU, US, MUST stay strong you must not give in to the monster in your head because it tells you of lies. your mind is in control of your body not the body over the mind!!! Never forget you are made perfectly in GODS image and you must fight each day some will seem a little less painful-then the next day a wave of pain that makes all hope seem lost. my answer to you and all that suffer is the true knowledge of the inner strength of a man or a woman's soul if they have made a 100% foot hold in their mind not to give up, my answer to you is time heals all my friend and I do promise you will feel you agine. I dont have a timeline formula like i said I'm not a doctor, BUT INNER STRENGTH NOT TO GIVE UP!!!!!!!!

Soma Carisoprodol is a muscle relaxer that works by blocking pain sensations between the nerves and the brain. Soma is used together with rest and physical therapy to treat injuries and other painful musculoskeletal conditions. Soma may also be used for other purposes not listed in this medication guide.Long-term use of Soma is associated with dependency and abuse of the drug; this is most commonly seen among people who have a history of addiction to drugs,. It can occur in anyone who takes Soma for an extended period of time.

My husband has been taking soma three times a day for 7 years. He has overdosed on it once. He takes it with dilaudid and Tylenol #4. He has degenerative disc disease and there are times he can hardly move. When he o'd, I took his meds away from him and gave them to him like he should take them. That was 2 years ago. Recently, I thought maybe I could trust him and gave his meds back to him. I came home from work one day and he could hardly walk or talk. He had been taking Soma all day. So I took them away again. I give him one at 6:30 pm and 2 in the morning, which are to last until I get home from work at 4pm. He's going through withdrawal and it's hell living with him. Or at least, I say it's withdrawal, because that's the only way I can explain it. I just hope we can make it until it's over.

I had spine surgery 12 years ago after a fall blew my l5 disc. I went the gammet, until 2012, I chose to get away from the meds because it turned me into someone I didn't recognize. I was on Oxys thrice daily, Soma, Klonopin, Trazodone....They prescribed and I took it because I wanted the pain to leave. When I got healthy, I worked with my Dr, and she put me on Catapress patches to get off the oxys. I'm happyy to report I was done in a week with ZERO withdrawals. Now, 3 yrs later, all I have are Soma for night time. Suddenly insomnia has began, and I read that Soma can and does cause it . SO...bye bye Soma! Do not expect anyone to help you get off this mess, you end up being the drug addict seeking refills, and until you clean up, and realize, YOUR GONNA HAVE SOME PAIN In life.....only then will you be free of the mentality. Trust me, I speak the truth. Too many are out there, taking meds in excess, and wonder why a plethora of other illnesses are now at your side. Go natural, use oils, aromatherapy, and some sort of meditation...it truly works.....I got my life back after ten years of a pain fog......nothing gets better, until YOU make the right CHOICE.

You really do not need rehab with the right Dr........Ask about Catapress.....it's an old bp med, that helps control it while your withdrawing....she gave me a week of valium just in case of anxiety...but I didn't even need them
