I am 20 years old and am one of those girls that thinks shes pregnant almost every month - it's a problem. But this time I'm pretty confused!
About 4 or 5 days ago I started experiencing pain in my stomach - and it varies, sometimes its lower in my abdomen and sometimes its upper and feels like a cramp from running or something. But it's constant like all day every day. Along with this comes lightheadedness when I walk around and then I also have Really sore breasts constantly. And I'm aware that these are symptoms of pregnancy. But I am wondering if it could be birth control related:
I was just switched from Cryselle to Alyacen - both are generic forms of ortho novum so i didn't think it would be a problem. I am now like half way through the month and I wonder if (and am clinging to) that the change of birth control is affecting me.
I also have just gotten over a UTI and a yeast infection (i'm a mess) and I also wonder if maybe the UTI didn't go away and that's affecting my stomach?
I know I can just take a home pregnancy test - but i'm too scared and would rather wait until I get/miss my period in a week.
So i'm just looking for some opinions/advice!
Thank you!

You could well be pregnant, especially if you have swapped birth control as is can take a few weeks to get into your system again. Have you taken a test? I am 9 days late at the moment and had period pains for 15 days, but no period. Ive taken 3 tests and all negative... Confused!!

I'm hesitant to take a pregnancy test before a missed period because of how ineffective they can be! So I plan on taking one in a week if I miss my period.
