I am a 61 year old male.
1980 I had three quarters of stomach removed, gaul bladder and opening into stomach narrowed to stop dumping syndrome.
Since then I have surgery 5 times for discs in lower back and neck.
2 saliva glands removed from mouth and tumor on nose plus various other minor procedures. I also have angina.
For the past 12 months my stomach has been swelling up just like as if you were pregnant with no pain and in the morning it is back to normal again and every couple of weeks I get this desperate smell when I burp which lasts for about a week at a time.
I have had loads of tests done and the answer I have been given is that it is due to the stomach operation back in 1980
Could this be caused by antibotics and steroids which I have been taking at various times over the years.
The smell is so bad I have to go outside the house to burp.
Any help would be appreciated.
