I am a 61-year-old woman in good health. I have just returned from a wonderful 7-week trip to SE Asia. I had no problems before or during the trip. However, in the last week or so, while retaining the same diet and eating habits, I find myself constantly hungry, with the feeling that I have a hole in my stomach that constantly needs filling. Eating more doesn't make me feel any better--I still feel hungry. There seems to be an area between and just below my breasts where this feeling seems to emanate from. I also am experiencing the need to burp a lot, but don't actually burp. These are all new feelings for me and I have no idea what, if anything, might be wrong. I am taking some lactaid pills with probiotics in them to see if they might help. Anyone got any suggestions or can shed any light on my condition?
