I'm 45 and am still having Bicep pain and occasional pain in my left quad similar to the bicep pain. I have lupus with chronic lower back and joint pain. I keep rubbing the bicep because it feels like I pulled it or something and it seems to stiffen up when i don't bend it a lot like when i first wake up or when relaxing it or when it is cramped in a typing position. I was once told I had some form of carpel tunnel in both arms. I couldn't tell you if it is related to the lupus or a blood clot or a strained mussel or a tick bite or a blocked blood vessel. So I am alarmed but hate going to the doctor for them to run blood work and tell me its nothing, I feel great otherwise. A week or so before this odd pain I did have a swollen lymph node (like a knot in my groin area on the right side and both my armpit nodes were a little sore but I get that from time to time with my Lupus. It means my body is trying to fight something off. I try not to panic every time I get a strange pain because I get them so often, I don't want these types of pains to get my mind on things like Cancer or heart disease. I haven't exercised consistently in about 25 years or more. I wish I didn't do that to myself because my inactivity has turned to atrophy in my arms and legs and I now get aches and pains like an old man. I will have to get a personal trainer to push me to get back into shape. My 240 pound body is getting harder to push around on these legs and my joints are starting to pay for it. I work in a sedentary job and the hours (12) are long so I try to get up frequently but that is not a substitution for daily exercise. Bottom line is I wish I know what this pain was, but I am willing to bet it is from inactivity and mussel atrophy. I think some fresh water and good diet along with 20 minutes a day intense exercise would do everybody's aches and pains some good. Also make sure to have a banana for muscle cramps.
