Did you ever file for a lawsuit against this medication?

I had a horrible reaction and a nerve damage!

I had a Synvisc One injection a little over 3 weeks ago. I have been in unreal pain ever since. The knee is swollen and very stiff and sore. The have drained it 2 times and given me 2 steroid injections to try and get the swelling down. I have been going to PT daily to try and get more range in the knee and I take pain pills every 4 hours. They drained it again to test for an infection but if its not infected they don't know what to do next. How can I get the Synvisc out of my knee?

I think we should sue the manufacturer of this medication!

i now have Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis
i had the Synvisc -ONe injection in about 2012
the fact it was attacking your lungs leaving you with an immune defiiciency sounds very similar to my issue - it is not treatable with a 2- year life expectancy
please advise what further investigations you have had done.

I HAD 2 synvisc injections with good results. On the third, which was in 2015, I had an immediate reaction, falling asleep, terrible pain and leg spasm that spead to all my joints. I was tested for ALLERGY and it was negative. MRIs showed torn meniscus both knees , tendon rupture and a torn quadriceps muscle. I am so debilitated I go nowhere. I read that there was a batch of imported drugs that were unapproved. We need a class action suit. So may reports are on the FDA web site !

I had on last June 2016, and will get one in both knees in the next few weeks. The I,section brought tears to my eyes, and sore legs for a few days. However, after 2 weeks, as my doctor said, the synvisc did its magic. Mine lasted a year. Well worth the injection pain to have relief for a year!

It is natural and will eventually be absorbed in your body.

I am going through the same problem right now, going on 1 week. What can I do? Isz there anyone who is knowledgeable enough to tell me what went wrong? I can't bend my knee and I'm limping with pain. My doctor did not seem too concerned when I mentioned my symptoms to his staff. He prescribed toradol and that is useless.

I am having the same problem. After three months, my knees hurt MUCH worse than they did before the injections. I also feel the product is defective.

My Dr. talked me out of sedation the day of my injection....It hurt worse than anything...I cried.. I only had it yesterday, but I still can't straighten my leg out or bend it back all the way. There is a large bump at the injection site, and it itches around the site.

I had Synvisc injection, 3 in 1 on February 3, 2017. It took 3 mos for the pain caused by the injection to ease. I am overweight so no knee replacement till I lose weight. I keep telling the surgeon I know I have bone on bone but it did not bother me until I fell. I know I have torn cartilage but they said surgery would not do any good to repair that. I disagree strongly. Why cant they fix the torn cartilage and at least give me some relief. I will never do the Synvisc again. It is deadly and should be removed from the market.

Hello
Since a synvisc one injection two months ago i am in severe pain and can barely walk. I would be interested in any legal action.
