to all the young girls out there,
if you are thinking of going on the depo injection please DON'T
research about it before you make a choice. i hated it
and worst of all my doctor didn't tell me all the side effect, she only told me about weight gain and no periods, but she missed the part about affecting your bones which is a permanent affect!

A lot of cities now offer free condoms and planned parenthood also offers birth control for women who cannot afford it, so please bear that in mind. If you must, buy condoms. It is better than an unplanned pregnancy.

I have noticed that I could be suffering hormonal imbalance (I am female, but there have been signs of me having more male hormones such as getting big pimples even in my chest, having fat deposits in my belly instead of butt and thighs, few chest hair that my friends don't have, quick regrowth of hair on legs... it's, like, totally freaky... if it weren't for my face i'd probably be mistaken for a really skinny man) and I've pointed this out many times to my Mom but she won't let me visit an ob-gynecologist. Would birth control pills help balance my hormones? Oh btw, my period is irregular too.
