I'm a guy, and i'm almost 16, and this is stressing me out; When flacid (soft), the skin around the mid section of the shaft (about halfway down my penis), is tighter, giving the shape of an hourglass. (I am circumcised). This sometimes hurts when urinating. I have noticed this about 7-8-9 months ago, but just tryed to get my mind of it, but now I cant, this is stressing me out too much.

What happens when you have an erection?
Does it get even tighter?
Is it the circumcision scar?

You may need to see a doctor about it. I'm sure she could fix that for you. I said she because I feel a female doctor, if you can find one, will be much more sympathetic and empathetic about the problem.

thanks for the reply!

When I have an erection, it does not take the shape of an hourglass, but it is still tighter around the mid-section, you can see little lines, that indicate that the skin is tight. It pushes my prostate, because of the tightness.

i dont think it's the circucision scar, it seems to be close to it, but it's closser to the base.

I don't have any suggestions other than to ask a doctor about it. It sounds like a band that is somewhat elastic so it stretches when forced to by an erection but is still tight enough to squeeze the soft penis. I can't think of anything you could do yourself to cure that.

hi mate, i know you like others will end up reading this, im 24 and have the same thing, although i am not circumcised. I have had this since i was around 21 not sure where or why it happened. but i do understand the worry it can create. i've seen 3 different doctors at 3 different practices, best advice i can give is if like me its not always there, mine usually crops up after sex or when its been down for a long period of time and again when urinating, iv tried Jelkin(not jerking, "Jelkin" google it), which i found helps stretch the skin out, repeat it depending on how tight it is and how quickly it tightens back up, always use a lubricant like baby oil or vasalene. but i have noticed that when i stopped it tightened back up all the way again, the doctors have told me its a band and that its ok and best not to get surgery because its very complicated procedure. if your going to the doctors which i recommend because this can be very different for everyone, take pictures of situations, when its down and not tight, when its down and tight, when its up and tight and when not tight, and the situations when its tightest, and when urinating if its tight or not, that way you avoid a trip to the doctors where the doctor cant see whats happening for they're own eyes where they have to make a educated guess and you leave feeling like you have a problem no one understands and worrying even more. the problem i worry about with this, is because its tight, so it is smaller then it used to be both when down or erect compared to when i was 19-20, i have honestly lost an inch and a bit more in length and some in thickness since then and to me its purely down to less blood flow because of the tightness, so take this advice, take the pictures, write down how it feels how long you've had it best by when you first noticed it and any physical changes to its shape and its behavior. good luck guys

Pushed your prostate??!! You realize your prostate is below your bladder and can only be accessed via the anus, right?

I was thinking to buy Novologan cream and to try to apply on mid section of the penis.. that cream is for tight skin(phimosis). I want to know what you guys think about that.. I did you find any solution yet?
