I have heard that toxoplasmosis is a spread infection, but most of the people are not aware of it. What are symptoms of this illness? How is it possible that people are not aware of it?

They are commonly not aware of it because sometimes there are no symptoms. They actually depend of people age and immune system. There are three basic patterns: congenital toxoplasmosis (in which child becomes infected before the birth), toxoplasmosis in an otherwise healthy child (same symptoms pregnant women may experience) and toxoplasmosis in a child with weakened immune system. But if there are any symptom they may be: fever, swollen gland, rashes etc.
