Hello. Gilbert syndrome is inability of liver to process bilirubin. However, this disease is harmless. One does not require treatment. Jaundice will pass after certain period of time. Later routine checkups are not necessary. If you are worried about your jaundice, you can ask your doctor to prescribe you Phenobarbital. It can decrease bilirubin levels. I hope this helps.
