Hi, I'll try to keep this as short as possible. I've searched for several days but can't find any question on any site, or article pertaining to my situation.

I was put on continuous birth control about 5 years ago. I've been on the same birth control for 4 years, and I have not gotten a period since (that was the plan. I have a hormone disorder that caused bad period symptoms)

I haven't even spotted in 4 years on my birth control, including a time I forgot to take it for a week straight. 4 years, 0 spotting. Over the weekend, I had lower abdominal, period like cramping. I've had period cramps a handful of times and knew it felt the same. But period cramps werent very common during my period. I shrugged it off as nothing. The next day, I had heavy spotting when I wiped, the spotting has lightened up a lot but has continued for the 3rd day now with very little spotting but still there. and the cramps have persisted. But now I'm feeling a twitch type feeling very low, near my uterus. As well as an almost pinching feeling isolated in the same area. I've never felt something like that before and can't compare it to typical period cramps even. I've been feeling them for about the past 2 or 3 days but didn't want to acknowledge it unless it persisted which it has and has intensified. 

I looked it up, and the spotting and cramps have been associated with implantation bleeding between 8 to 10 days after conception. My fiance and I fit right into that time frame, and to cap it off, I've been on antibiotics for the past 2 weeks. We totally forgot it lessens birth control effectiveness, and now with the totally abnormal bleeding, cramping and now this odd twitch feeling near my uterus, it's hard to ignore.

Could i be pregnant? An at home pregnancy test is too soon to tell, so we're considering a trip to the doctor to find out but wondering if anyone had opinions on the situation.
