I am 20 years old and I have only had unprotected sex with my current partner. We have been together for over a year. This month when my period came, I had a lot of irritation in my inner labia majora because I was wearing tight jeans. A few nights ago, I scratched the area and discovered two ulcers. They were not clustered and they are approximately 5 millimeters in diameter. They are not weeping, they do not hurt, they do not burn when I urinate, they do not itch. They are just there. At first, they were slightly raised like a hair bump, but soon after they began to flatten. I have had really bad ingrown hair programs in the past. They have hairs growing out of the boarder of the wound, and yesterday (which would be the second day), they began to try to heal themselves. I am nervous about genital herpes. I read all these things online that say that you can have an outbreak years after an exposure, and some say that it is usually 2-20 days after an exposure. I really don't have any other symptoms besides these two sores. My boyfriend and I think I just scratched myself very hard and freed an ingrown hair. I am still going to get tested anyways.
