What can you tell me about the types of reinforcement? I have heard that my kid’s teacher has been using those methods in the classroom and I admit that I don’t know one thing about it. So, can you give me some sort of explanation here? I don’t won’t my kid to be influenced by something bad…

Well, you don’t have to worry about that. I would call those reinforcements as types of mild persuasion and pointing to a right direction. For example, during a test, if a student is making an error, sometimes teacher would tap his/her pencil next to the wrong answer on the paper. If the student knows the answer, he will correct himself, If not, no harm done. So, no place for panicking here.
