Unhealed wound post haemorrhoidectomy, I need to have one more operation. Anyone here has it?

hi I had a haemorrhoidectomy 6 weeks ago

my surgeon now says two wounds remain unhealed hence causing bleeding and pain during bm

he says if it remains this way at the 12 week mark he needs to take me back to theatre to clean up the wound to encourage healing

has anyone had this second op on the wound??

what was your experience? 

More importantly was the pain ok/bearable?? 

I have two small kids so I'm very nervous of the pain and sheer torture that I went thru post op and don't want anything like that again

pkease Someone put my mind at ease by sharing their experience

i should add. I keep the area clean and dry with cotton ball up there changed frequently. Also use glyceryl trinitrate cream to encourage healing
