My boyfriend & I had unprotected sex a day before I was to start the sugar pills on my birth control. I have been on birth control for over a year & have always had at least a little bit of bleeding on the week my period is due. Well when we had sex he first used no contraceptive, then we used a film that we had that was to dissolve & work as the extra contraceptive. I am concerned that I may have gotten pregnant due to the fact that I was a day late on a few pills at the beginning of my pack and that it was the day before the week of my period as I have not started my period and it is the end of the week. Could i be pregnant or am I just not having any bleeding because I am stressed & worrying about being pregnant?

Well there is always the chance but that wouldn't have been your fertile day anyways. That happens in the middle of your cycle normally the 13,14, and 15 day of a 30 day cycle the first day being the first day of your period. Just get a test to be sure, but stress can postpone it. good luck

okay, so i may still have bleeding when i start my new pack of pills? so that will be considered my period? is it bad if you dont bleed at all? i have taken 2 hpt and they both came back not pregnant. should i still go to my doctor and have them test?

So yes you may still have bleeding when you start your new pack, but it isn't likely. It is not bad if you don't bleed at all. Sometimes it happens. But I think you should go to the doctor just to check because sometimes there can be other things going on for you to miss your period. It will help put your mind at ease.
