The title is the best way I can describe it. The last week or so I've had this issue where my testicles have come up rather close to my body, something I know happens to do with temperature, however what's new is that they're essentially on opposite sides, with a rather large gap now between them. There's no pain or discomfort, it's just unusual and certainly does feel out of the ordinary. My only explanation I could give myself is that it's a result of sitting on a new chair in work which doesn't provide much in the way of cushion, so I'm essentially sitting on a flat hard surface for several hours a day. There's also no possibilities of some form of STI as I've had no possible exposure to any in any form since long before this began. I just want to know if this issue might just go away on it's own, and it's just a knock or from my seats, or something.

Both testicles have a muscle called the cremaster that ensheaths them. It sounds like you are unintentionally contracting that muscle (as it *can* be voluntarily contracted, which lifts the testicles up), and they are kept held up in that position. Try to relax your scrotum and testicle muscles, when you can move your focus and attention to them. If you can't or don't want to, don't worry about it. It's the job of the cremaster to do just exactly what it's doing. :)
