i have been with my partener for around 5 months. not every time but 80 % of the time i bleed during sex quite alot. i have been and had std test and they came back clear, now i am very worried as my mother had suppected cervical cancer at 33 and had to have a full hystrectomy. i' am 29 and half. :-(

I had that problem for years --- and no one could figure out was wrong. One doctor tried cryotherapy (freezing my cervix with nitrous oxide) -- didnt work. The only thing i found that prevents me from bleeding is being on oral contraceptives. I dont know what the original cause of the bleeding is -- one doctor says its like people who have frequent nosebleeds (your capilaries are just more suceptable to irritation and bleeding). But i have been on a low dose (20 - 30 mcg) for about 4 years now, and havent bled since. Give it a try!
