About two days ago, while my boyfriend and I were playing around, he inserted a vibrating toothbrush inside me, the side with the bristles, and turned it on, but when he pulled it out completely after a few minutes there was blood on it. We thought it was okay since it seemed to stop after a while and there wasn't an excessive amount of blood, but today I saw some fresh blood. I know it's not my period and it was not my hymen. Am I okay? I'm really worried about it, so please help me!

OK honey! You have to be logical about sexual play! 1st of all a toothbrush is FILLED with bacteria! And the bristles and rubber of the toothbrush could have possible scratched your vaginal tissue! So I think that you have scratched your vagina! THUS the reason why you don't see vibrators with bristles on them! So give it a couple of days, and hopefully the bleeding will stop! IF it doesn't I am worried that you have not only scratched your vagina but may have caused an infection with the toothbrush too - which you will need to see a doctor about! So don't engage in ANYTHING to do with your vagina till you are healed OK? Good luck and health!

Thank you very much for your advice! Is there anything I can do to make sure I don't get an infection from this? Is there also any other ways I can tell if I do get one?

Hi honey! I'm not one to suggest douching, but in this case it might be a good idea! The vinegar one might just HURT a LOT!!!!!, don't use anything scented on the area! And keep a look out for green fishy smelling discharge!! Also just thought of somehting - you could try using a squirt bottle with 2 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide and the rest warm water! And douche with this, I'm pretty usre this wont hurt as much as vinegar! So give that a try for a couple of days, and I think that should do the trick! Do it everytime you go to the bathroom OK? Good luck and health honey!
