Im 19 years old and recently had a yeast infection, at least i think it was? My labia became very swollen, dry and cracked and even bled sometimes, the discharge had also changed consistancy - but since treating that problem with thrush creams it hasnt persisted and everything seemed back to normal hoqever... earlier i was masturbating (clitoral only) and literally a minuit or so had past afterwards, and the area next to my clit and down became extremely swollen? like, in between the outer labia and the inner labia? Its happend aswell (not in the same area) during intercorse, but it can become increasingly painful, but its never happend if ive done it alone? Im aware its normal to swell after vigerous intercorse, or even vigerous masturbation but, i wasnt doing it too much if that makes sense? Just as normal as i ever would but im swelling up like a balloon all the time and i really dont get why? Im confused and very worried. Help?

I had chronic yeast infections for two years. Mine did not go away (no matter what) until I had a complicated miscarriage in January that wiped me out. With my experience, I always swelled big with any kind of stimulation down there and it was because of the yeast. It get's irritated and reacts.. by swelling. My advice is that the yeast infection is not completely gone. I would see your gyn to make sure and get an antibiotic for it.
