A study found that when two cups of yogurt a day were added to the diet. Raising the daily consumption from 400 mg to 1000 mg, the subjects lost close to 11 lbs. over 12 months. Another study found that subjects put on a milk-only diet for six weeks lost an average of nearly 20 lbs.
