I am not a doctor , however in the case of Pharma name and generic, often the pills have differennt coatings. Could this be what is causing you to itch. Recently I went from 110 mgs of Bupropion to 15omgs. I started with the constipation, and now I itch all over. I originally thought it was dry winter skin, guess not.

Generic brand wellbutrin makes my skin hypersensitive and if it gets scratched turned into hives... I hope I have to option to try name brand because my body does not like the generic. I'm in us though and hear it's hard to come by and very expensive

I started generic Wellbutrin about 4 years ago and began to develop night-time itching. This continued for the 3.5 years I was on it. I stopped using Wellbutin about 17 months ago and still have itching at night, although not to as severe. It's terrible. I have to take allegra 2-3 times/week to stop it. Also, I have noticed mild gastroparesis since stopping Welbutrin.
