Hey there. My cousin Meg unfortunately is diagnosed with chronic heart failure. I don't know how did she got this issue, because no one in her family have any kid of heart problems. She thinks that she will need to quit her job (she is a basketball player) because of it. She went to consult the doctor and he told her that she doesn't need to be afraid because he will take a good care of her. He prescribed beta blocker Cardicor to her. Now, I am wondering what are the ingredients of this beat - blocker? Are those ingredients harmful?

Cardicor belongs to the group of medicines referred to as beta-blockers. It is a medicine which works on the heart and blood vessels. It does this by blocking tiny areas (called beta-adrenergic receptors) where messages sent by some nerves are received by your heart and blood vessels. As a result, your heart beats more slowly and with less force. The pressure of blood within your blood vessels is reduced and it is easier for your heart to pump blood around your body.

These actions are of benefit if you have high blood pressure (hypertension), or if you have heart failure which is a condition where your heart is not working as well as it should. Because your heart is using less energy, it also helps to reduce chest pain if you have angina.

Hello there. These is a beta – bloker just like you already know. It is actually in the group of the medicines that work by blocking beta receptors that are found in the heart. Bisoprolol is causesing the heart to beat slower and less forcefully. This reduces the pressure at which blood is pumped out of the heart and around the body. That is the way how it lowers your blood pressure. The effects of bisoprolol mean that the heart doesn't use as much energy to pump blood around the body. That is why doctors recommend it very often and I believe that it is good.

Good day there. Cardicor is the same thing as Bisoprolol and it is used to treat stable heart failure or to treat when the heart is not pumping enough blood to meet the body’s needs. Cardicor belongs to a family of drugs called Beta – Blockers, and every Beta-blocker cause a relaxation of the muscles of the heart. This also helps to lower high blood pressure. Beta-blockers also help to keep the heart beating of your heart regularly and it works by blocking the chemicals which make it beat faster. If you had heart attack, it can help you in protecting your heart.

Hello there. I just want to tell you that I was searching for answers to this question as well and I couldn't find it anywhere. I asked one friend and she couldn't tell me as well because she didn't know. Now, I really want to thank you because my niece needs to use it and I notice that list of the ingredients is really long and I know that she is allergic to one of the ingredient that I find in here. I will tell this to her parents and they will consult her doctor about some other steps. Thank you.
