So I have been using marvelon for just over a year now. However I have decided to change to yasmin. I took my last pill of marvelon on a thursday night. I then had a 7 day break but started yasmin on the sixth day (thursday by mistake)
I had intercourse on the friday which would have been in my pill free week (I heard you are protected in this time) However I have also then heard that a new brand of pill wont be effective for 7 days. I then realised that sperm can live for up to 7 days in the body and wondered how likely it was that I could be pregnant?
It is only 2 days since then so I would still have time to go and get an emergency contraceptive if I needed to.
The lad also didnt *** in my properly. He ejaculated properly outside of the vagina. There might have been a little pre *** but he pee'd twice before the intercourse which I heard can kill any remaining sperm from last time.
Would you recommend I take an emergency contraceptive?

If you look up the Plan B pill (http://www.planbonestep.com/) it has specific details about what it does and when it should be taken. It does say that it should be taken within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected sex.
