Hi, we have a 5 year old boy who has been suffering lately from some intestinal disorders. It seems like he has constipation and he even started vomiting this morning. What should we do? We are going to the doctor tomorrow but we could use some help right now. A friend said that it might be a duodenal obstruction – what are the possible complications of that condition in infants?

Well, you have to know that if enough food does not pass through the duodenum further to intestines there is a big chance that the physical development will suffer because the organism does not receive enough nutrients. Still, that condition is treatable but don’t worry that much for now. You still have to determine what the real problem with your kid is.
