Hi, there. Lupus is a systemic auto-immune disease which affects various organs. That is why there are so many possible symptoms. There is erythematic rush on the face, shaped like a butterfly. Joints can also be affected. They are swollen and painful. There are also nervous system symptoms like: headaches, seizures, paralysis, stroke, depression, other cognitive problems, etc. Kidneys are also affected. Myocarditis and endocarditis are also possible. There can be lung problems. As you can see, there are various symptoms. They don’t have to be all in one patient.
