I love to run and hike, but am limited by my very weak, roll prone ankles. I have started looking into braces, but am very afraid of trying something without some input first. I used to keep in shape by doing ranchwork and jogging a little on the job, but as I no longer do that full time, I would like to take up recreational running and hiking. I always wore work boots when I was working, which do provide awesome ankle support, but are not comfortable to jog in for long periods, lol. Has anyone had luck with ankle braces or ankle support type shoes?
