Male 18 years old from the UK, I am currently suffering from delayed puberty, I have been checked multiple times by doctors, had hormone results taken physical inspections done and everything seems to be normal. However despite this my genitals are underdeveloped for my age, my testicles are small with the skin being red and loose where it should be darker and harder. My penis is underdeveloped, in size as well as not looking right, the foreskin won’t retract over the head of the penis as well as the fact the head of my penis does not look correct I.e the way my urethra looks. Accompanied by the fact I do not get sporadic erections throughout the day as well as none in the morning. This issue is just being waved off by the doctors and is really starting to mentally drain me as it took a lot of courage to go to the doctors about these issues in the first place and they are just being waved off. I have been put in to have a circumsion and that is being blammed for all my issues. I need help as this is currently ruining life for me.

Hello, MW7.
I'm really sorry to hear that you're going through such a difficult time. It's understandable that these concerns about delayed puberty and the appearance of your genitals are causing you distress.
If you've already seen multiple doctors and had hormone tests and physical examinations that all came back normal, it's important to communicate your concerns to your healthcare providers in a clear and assertive manner. Sometimes, medical professionals may initially overlook or underestimate the impact of certain symptoms, and it's crucial to advocate for yourself and express the emotional toll these issues are taking on your well-being.
Consider seeking a second opinion from another doctor or specialist, such as an endocrinologist or urologist, who may have more expertise in this area. They may be able to conduct a more detailed evaluation and provide further insights into your specific situation.
In addition to medical consultations, you might also find it helpful to seek support from a mental health professional. They can provide guidance and assistance in coping with the emotional distress you're experiencing due to these concerns.
Remember, it's essential to maintain open and honest communication with your healthcare providers and express your concerns clearly. They are there to help you, and it's important to find a solution that addresses your needs and improves your quality of life.
