It can mean you have a urinary tract infection or possibly an STD. You do need to see your doctor as it can get worse and you can get very sick. UTI's are common in women after having sex - BUT it IS NOT the only way you can get one.
If it is an STD, you could infect your partner. It can also lead to infertility.
I tend to think it is a UTI however. Go see your doctor.
