First of all, let me say I'm not an expert, so I'm answering you from my own perspective and personal experience. You need to keep that area of your body very clean. For one thing, when you move your bowels, you must make sure that none of the bowels pass over your urinary tract opening because the bacteria in the bowels can easily travel and infect you. It is advisable to wipe from front to back if you are not already doing so.

Hello there,

I have heard that there are walk in clinics and this is for people without insurance but I advise you to phone up them and find about this a little bit more. Also you will get a prescription for the antibiotics and since you have been dealing with the UTI before you are aware that you need these to get rid of the UTI.

And this should cost around 50 $ but ask them when you phone them.

And for the prevention of the future UTI you can try with cranberry products. My sister in law is having the same problems and she has been using cranberry juice for some time now and she claims it is very helpful in preventing bacteria to live in your urinary tract.
