Hello, I would like you to help me with my mother’s problem. She is 59 years old and she has been diagnosed with osteoporosis. She never had this kind of problem in her life, but it looks like the menopause was really bad period for her. Anyway, she got some meds, but I would like to know if there is something more that can be done for her. What is GRF?

That is one of the possibilities for her condition, but perhaps her state is not that bad, perhaps the medications will be helpful enough. If not, then the GRF therapy might be applied. That is basically administration of the growth hormone releasing factor or some analog substance until the bone mass is at the satisfying level. This goes for the calcium too.
