I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing these symptoms post-surgery. Some considerations or potential causes include:

  1. Bladder Irritation: Sometimes surgical procedures in the abdominal area can irritate or cause inflammation in the bladder. This can lead to feelings of urgency or frequency.

  2. Pelvic Floor Dysfunction: Surgery in the abdominal or pelvic area can sometimes impact the pelvic floor muscles, leading to pain or urinary issues.

  3. Neurological Impacts: In some cases, nerves that control bladder function can be affected after abdominal surgery.

  4. Other Causes: It's also possible that your symptoms are related to another condition not directly related to your recent surgery.

Here are some steps you might consider:

  1. Seek a Second Opinion: If you're not getting answers from your current doctor, it may be beneficial to get a second opinion from another specialist.

  2. Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy: A physical therapist specialized in the pelvic floor might be able to help if the issue is related to muscle dysfunction.

  3. Follow-up with Urologist: If you continue to have urinary issues, consider seeing a urologist, who specializes in issues related to the urinary tract.
