58 years old female, since 5 days ago, started having jolting, stabbing pain in the back of the head, accompanied by tightness and strain of neck. Went to the ER and doctor thought it was muscle strain but the pills given on muscle stress did not help at all. A few days later, the pain actually left the back of the head and now is hitting the right temple and behind the right ear. The right ear hurt a lot at one point and was painful to the touch. But that right ear pain went away quickly. Rather, the jolting pain is constant and comes without warning and still hits behind the right ear and on right temple. These area though do not hurt when touched, since the jolting comes without warning on its own. Besides this pain, everything else is normal - able to walk, work, see, and do everyday activities as usual. Please, any idea why? Any suggestion about what to do? Thank you!
