What is the average heart rate of a sixteen to seventeen year old male or female?

There is no real average as the range can be large. However, heart rates between about 60 and 100 are normal for the average teen. Of course that assumes there is something you could call an AVERAGE teenager. XD

As TheGeeze has already told you that rate between 60 and 100 is considering normal I presume that you have answer to your question. Also, I presume that you are a little bit worried because something has happened to you and you were probably taken to the nurse in your school and she has probably measured your heart rate and blood pressure but she hasn’t gave you and additional info on the numbers. And now you are wondering what has happened and what is normal and what the cause for concern is.
