Hi. I have been having problems with my menstral cycle this month. I am on birth control and have been for about 6 or 7 years. My period is always what I would consider normal. This time on Friday I spotted, Saturday was nothing, Sunday was regular, today I didn't have nothing until a little while ago and I only see blood when I wipe. I don't know what's wrong with me. I have taken 2 pregnancy test and they both came back negative. I have been sick with a cold and I have been on a lot of medications. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas that might be wrong with me. I would appreciate anything anyone has to offer.

It could be something tr ansient and hard to recognize or it could be all these meds you've been taking and the cold. Cold can easily interfere with periods. I reckon you are fine. Gynecologist say that we should see them if the third cycle is irregular because that we indicate something was wrong. If it only happens ones, it means it was something transient that wouldn't even be able to determine.
