My daughter is 13, will be 14 in August 2022. She is currently 5' 7 & 3/4" (essentially almost 5'8"). Today she weighed herself and she is 139.4 lbs. Honestly, add or subtract as much as 3-4 lbs. for daily poop. She is EXTREMELY athletic. She runs middle school track and works out daily from 3:30-5pm. She plays hockey for two teams and is on the ice working her @$$ off between 6-8 times a week. She's solid crazy muscle for her age. There isn't an ounce of unnecessary chub anywhere on her and her muscles are kinda scary when she flexes - haha.
Don't drink soda, it's freaking terrible for you and absolutely will immediately convert to unnecessary fat. Don't drink juice for the same reason. Eat fruit. My daughter has never had soda in her life up until 12. She gets carbonated butterscotch "black cauldron" drink about 4 times a year (not kidding). It's not that we're mean to her and require her to stay away, but having stayed away from soda this long and her seeing herself compared to others her age that drink 10-20 a week, she sees the obvious difference and recognizes it's extremely unhealthy for you.
Avoid soda and massive amounts of stupid sugar daily and get some regular exercise and you won't have to worry about your weight. That's the honest truth many won't tell you. And yes, while all people are beautiful... being overweight is not good for you, but you know what overweight is - it's very obvious. Likely you're not in that category.

Don't over indulge in dessert & sweets (couple times a week max) and stay the hell away from soda. Drink milk & water. No juice - it's bad for your teeth. Eat fruit instead (lots of fiber for your gut!). Also, if you're involved in an intense workout, nothing is going to taste as good and refreshing as plain water. Trust me. Stay way from "energy drinks" or c**p you add to water to "boost performance." They're bull$#it, a waste of money, and not thirst quenching.
Follow that (it's rather simple actually) and your 74 lbs. will settle exactly where it's supposed to be - trust me.
In your future: Avoid alcohol 100%. Never ever start. #1 - it's known to cause cancer and health problems even in the smallest occasional doses. #2 - it's the fastest way to pack on unnecessary, never going to remove body fat. STAY ACTIVE! Always play sport - few times a week. You'll be in great general health and likely will never have to worry about weight.
