I am a 12 year old girl and I weigh 166 pounds!!! I am 5.6 in height and I am very athletic. I know some of my weight is muscle but not all of it. I really want to lose weight and I really need help. Whats a good daily weight loss thing I can do? Please... no programs like weight watchers. Thanks everyone!

I am also 12 5'6 and i weigh 154 pounds. I thought about my weight to... for a long time, and decided to do something about it. I went to the doctors for a physical. My doctor gave me a few tests and it turns out that it all depends on how your built. For example ,  i have thick bones that weight allot. Of course my weight isn't just my bones and stuff so i lowered the portions of food i ate and i also changed what i was eating. Instead of coming home and having a pizza-pop or something i would measure the amount of carrots, broccoli,cucumber ect. and have that.(go light on dips) i hope i could help.... GOOD-LUCK!!!! Don't worry. If a guy doesn't like you just because of your size then he's stupid. You're who you are! Excercise, healthy eating habits and taking vitamins will help. I

first off. in my opinion u should hate yourself because of your  outside appearance. second off. the most beautiful thing about a person is there personality because we are all different in a special way. and last if you wanna lose weight dont do it for another person. do it for yourself. not only will it increase your self asteam but it will make u healthier. and everyone has there own special person in life. your young and still have time to find that someone. cause nobody is meant to be alone all their life.I hope this helped u :)

I am 12 years old and I weigh 166 pounds and whenever I try to lose weight, nothing works. I lose some weight in the summer but it always come's back. So what I am asking is, how do I lose weight and keep it off because I want to be able to go swimming and not feel that people are looking and saying "Oh, she's fat". I know that not many people say these things but I would like to have my confidence back!!! Please help!!:-|

Go for a walk every day - don't just walk slowly because that does nothing actually walk fast
eat foods that are closer to the ground - i mean the less processed the better.
use your brain - don't just watch television because that won't turn on your brain - the more you use your brain the more energy you have to do active things

Hi im also 12yrs and is 166 and 5'6 I  height and is also trying to lose weight just watch what your eating nothing greasy like chips,pizza,mcdonels. And etc just do sit ups and excersise daily Kim also doing this so hopefully it works just eat fruits veggies not that much bread or pasta because that will make you gain more weight so hopefully it works and if it does please reply to me because I'm also doing this so GOOD LUCK to the both of us

do daily yoga and exercise  that will help you to maintain your weight as well as reached out from the junk food.
