i know seriously! my 13th birthday is coming up and i have had the white sticky stuff but no period. i just want it to start already because my friends are starting theirs and i m older than them. :-( :-( :-( :-(

i feel like that too. im 13 (as of October) and a year or so ago i got brown discharge and i think i got some like last month or something but nothing else is happening. i want to start because all my friends have and it sucks.....i hate when everyones like, 'you haven't started yet?? omg your so lucky!!' cuz i feel the exact opposite. theres nothing i can do but wait i guess....and carry supplies in a small bag at the bottom of my backpack :/
i think im going to start wearing pantyliners everyday, that way i have extra time if im in one of my classes and i start. that way i know that my underwear and/or jeans won't get all gross and i will have to tie my jacket around my waist the rest of the day!!
the whole situation sucks, and it makes me feel really young when i want to me a true girl!! ughh

All of what you guys are talking about is the same that is happening to me. I don't like the sticky stuff... the weird thing is , is that sometimes it's white an sometimes it's clear... My mom started her period 2 and a half months before her 13th or 14th birthday. I've been getting cramps for the past week. I've been getting more and more moody. And the white stuff is coming more and more...

I'm just really scared im going to get it while in school. ! Yeah, i sometimes use the pantyliners, but mines like whitish yellow. someone, HELPP?!

Well, you know, a period isn't as nice as it sounds. Most especially PMS. You will probably get it near the end of the year or when you're 15. If not you are a late bloomer, but if you see the slightest pink in your underwear or when you wipe, you got it. Trust me, you'll know.

Look i am 14 turning 15 and i want an actual doctor or something to give me a rough estimate of when it will happen. i have discharge and boobs and all that stuff (but it hasnt gone brown) i've had cramps through school but i hav been having this since i was 12!! even if u think u could help me just please! and i know every one who has it says they wish they didnt but u dont get it! everyone in my year has had it and i feel like a child, like something is wrong with me! is there anything i can do to bring it on sooner or something! please!!

I don't understand what the rush is! I started around 13 or 14...well I'm going on 17 now. I get my periods so bad! The cramps are so painful that I'll start throwing up all day and all pain/menstural medicine I've used barely tides me over for three hours. I get dizzy, sweaty, shakey, my legs get weak, and I've passed out three times. You can't know how bad you'll get them until it starts. And pads and tampons can get expensive. Relax, you're not missing anything.

I'm not worried but I'm anxious to know when I'm gonna start too, surely there must be some way of telling? I am 5"8, quite slim, very active, 9 and a bit stone and 14!!
