When am I going to have my period?!?!?!

Hey girls. I'm 13 years old and currently on my fourth period. It. Sucks. I used to hate girls telling me this before I had my period, but believe me, you should enjoy your time without it. The first time it's excting, the second still exciting and you feel more grown up, the third it gets a little old, and by the forth, you want to kill it. Here's how mine went First- exciting! Finally! I grew up! ... Second- woohoo! ... Putting a pad on is hard Third- *sigh* darn :/ Fourth- DIDIN'T I JUST CHANGE MY PAD FIFTEEN MINIUTES AGO?! "mom we need more pads" *3 days later* "mom we need more pads* oh and let's not forget having to sleep on those thick pad (not menstrual pads, although you do sleep in those too) things that are made for five year olds who wet the bed, y'know, so you don't accidentally get blood on your sheets. Speaking from personal experience here. /: and every time you leave the bathroom you're worried someone heard you opening the pad. OH, and the joyous feeling when you run in to someone you know at walmart while you're buying PADS. ////: and by day six, you've decided this period is NEVER. GONNA. END. and it's trying to kill you. (lol but it's not really :P) Oh, plus the mood swings. Enjoy your freedom!! Periods suck, they're just 35+ years of monthly inconvenience. I had to miss a party because I was on my period. I'm actually still on that same period. /:

Okay.. I started my period when I was 11!! I'm now 13 && I really wish I was one of you girls with no period. So be happy it hasn't come yet!

you guys i havent even had my period yet and you cant predict it if you have cramps or discharge or hair down there for a while then you are gonna have your period soon also i read online that masturbating does not effect your period for thoose of you that wanted to know and if you just have the discharge you CANNOT put in a tampon because you will most likely get a horrid infection!!! i realized that while im waiting for my period expectadly i have to enjoy not haveing it while it lasts and i shouldnt be afraid of getting it because its normal. also ive heard that the more you know about your period the less scary or suprising it will be so go online talk to adults and get some info i did and its really helping!!! i had the growth and developement class a few weeks ago and it was my first one i thought it was kinda gross [especisaly the part about the boys] but you know its part of growing up i guess. so if you have any questions you should ask!!

I didn't get my period until I was 16 so my only advice is to try and forget about it untill it actually happens. My Mum got hers when she was 11 so your family history isn't always a good indicator. I went to the doctor to see if anything was wrong with when I didn't get it before my 16 birthday and the doc said to come back if I got to 17 and still hadn't had it. He said its entirely normal to get it at 16 and you should only worry if you get to 17 or 18.

Don't worry about it happening at school because it usually won't gush out of you and you'll get plenty of warning before you actually make a mess of your clothes. Hope this helps.

dont worry you might get "it" soon or you might not next ytime you go to the doctor ask him/her about it [i know the doctor being a boy might sound wierd but i had to go through something even wierder and my doctor was male] so its ok and dont be emmbarrassed obviously everyone here is having or had similar problems

well i havent got mine yet so its ok. judging by what u said it will probably make its rounds soon but u never no. if u want 2 hav a idea of wen it might start go on yahoo and type in when am i getting my period quiz or period quiz or whens my period gonna start quiz i did a quiz like that and it said soon.

Same thing is happening to me, but you guys are lucky....im 14 years old about to turn 15 and i still havnt had my period.......all my friends talk about there period and i cant say anything....and its embarrassing because im the oldest out of everybody and the smallest out of everybody): and i have been having my white discharge(white sticky stuff) for almost two years now ): but im starting to get my brown discharge and i always get my brown discharge once a month..and once my brown discharge was so heavy it went through my underwear and shorts.and i feel since i havent had my period yet that im a little girl and know guuy is gunna like me until i grow a body.....my crush said he would go out with me but i have no body): its hard im like dieng in side ...i really wanna know whe im gunna ge my period!

Heey, im 14 and i still havnt started my period, although i get heavy discharge and bad cramps and that. I duunno why you aree all freaking a=out about the fact that you havnt started yet because its different for everyone, you should be happy for you havnt started yet, but its best to carry around some pads with you for just incase.

Omg! I am like getting the same thing! I am finding: 1. White sticky stuff (Sometimes brownish) 2. Cramps I hope this helps to some of you but I did some research and found some clues about when your going to get your period soon. Here they are! •You'll get mood swings •Cramps •The white stuff is called "white discharge" •The average age is 9 to 16

i dont get why everyone want's their period. im 13 and i dont have mine yet, but no rush. cause all my friends that have it all have pimples. everywhere. literally everywhere. i mean, whats the big deal, who cares! its OK to be different.
