First and foremost, use portection. I know it may seem like a small and unimportant thing, but do you really want to be pregnant at 16? No hate, of course, I just want you to be safe.
Onto answering your question!
There's a disease called Thrush, a yeast infection, that a man or a woman can catch without ever having had sex. The infection can cause the soreness you've mentioned, as well as redness, stinging pain, and I think swelling? It isn't a serious problem, the worst bit about Thrush is actually getting rid of it. Go to your local doctor's and explain your problem, be honest with them and tell them what you've said here. If they think it's thrush, they'll probably give you a tablet to take once a day, or a cream to rub in three times a day. I'd also suggest trying to eat more yoghurt as I've heard it helps with yeast infections.
Be sure your boyfriend gets treated at the same time as you. Sometimes Thrush won't show any symptoms, a person could have it and never even know. Your boyfriend may have it without showing any signs of it, so iff you get treated and have sex again, you may well catch it from him again (If it is thrush, and if he does have it). Be sure to wash your privates once a day, and make sure your boyfriend's doing the same. If he's uncurcumsized (Still has his foreskin), make sure he's washing underneath it!
So methinks that's it. Head to your local doctors, tell 'em about your problem, and if it is thrush, tell your boyfriend to go and get treatment as well. And don't have sex AT ALL untill -both- of you have finished your treatment, otherwise the thrush'll just keep coming back. Like I said, the worst part's getting rid of it.

Use protection and lub. All the people he slept with you are sleeping with. Let's say he slept with one other girl besides you and she had sex with 3 guys before your boyfriend. So your having sex with the guys you slept with plus who they slept with plus who they slept with and so on so forth. That's a disease awaiting.

You don't need to be a certain age to buy them yourself. If you have a couple of bucks get them. I know a couple of people that got pregnant on just birth control and your still able to get diseases, birth control don't stop against diseases. But my honest opinion CONDOMS AND LUB!
Or just break up with him cause parents aren't stupid, they'll find out one way or another
