I receive a birth control shot once every three months. I have been using the shot for about a year now. I do not have a period at all while being on the shot. Sincr I haven't had a period in a year, I have no idea when it should be. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on November 9th, and he came inside me. I forgot that I was a couple days overdue on my shot. I don't know whether to get my shot now. Because if I'm going to get it, I have to get it within the next couple days. Can the shot hurt my baby if I am pregnant? Also, how long do I have to wait before taking a pregnancy test?
