Hello, I am 46 years old and I want to know everything about your experiences with Ritalin addiction. Do you know how to free yourself from it? I became addicted to it and I need help, and I mean all the help I can find. I know that I am addicted because my body is craving for this drug even when I got off it.

Yes, I know that this is not an easy time for you. I was very addicted to Ritalin. All I can say is that I am very glad that I am off it now. That was the worst time of my life. The paranoia was unbearable in that time. But all of that is in the past and I am not the same person I was back then. Or if I put it better, I am the same person as I was before the addiction. You should join a support group because it may sound funny but it really helps. I am happy because of my decision to join, because I don't know what would have happened if I haven't. I wish you all the best and hang on there. Don't let this substance to win.

Ya, I'm 15 years old and I've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I didn't find out until after I had started taking ecstacy almost every weekend. I decided that I needed to stop because it was making my anxiety worse. My sister has ADHD and she takes ritalin, so I decided to take it one night instead of ecstacy to sort of wear myself off it. I loved the feeling it gave me, I was able to concentrate. I started taking it almost daily, and couldn't stand feeling sober. It started making my episodes of depression longer and worse, and I started having horrible episodes that started lasting longer. I'm slowly getting off of it, but it's a horrible addiction. It was so hard to get off it, worse than ecstacy. I'm glad I'm not on it anymore, although my anxiety is still pretty bad.
