I went to the doctor on Monday and he told me I had a yeast infrection even though there wasn't much yeast or bacteria present. He gave me Diflucan and I had white clumpy discharge after I took it. Is it possible that the birth control causes the yeast infection? I was having a buring sensation and itching but it went away. I'm also experiencing chest pain, back pain, neck pain, head aches, acne, sore throat, breast tenderness, and my teeth are sensitive to touch.

The yeast infection is not related to the birth control. The causes of a yeast infection are primarily dietary, but not necessarily because of BC. Does tha thelp answer your question?
