Hey guys, I couldn't help but join this site/forum and give my input. Alright so I've been working out more than the usual + the occasional joint (highly doubt it's that) + yellow puss coming out. Now here's the thing, I THOUGHT that I happened to catch this "fungus" because I work on a construction site and I noticed right away that while going to the washroom the tip of my penis happened to hit the inside of the bowl. Right away I thought it was a bad move and the next day or two, I got the itch/puss. I went to the hospital to get checked and thus far this week I've been taking antibiotics "METRONIDAZOLE"... I'm so confused because it seems like none of you have been taking this but rather a different antibiotic?
I've got to say, after taking this for the 6/7 prescribed days, I am still seeing the puss, my penis is definitely effected in that it's obvious my Mojo is not the same.. I was supposed to get a call this week in regards to any tests coming back positive and I got NOTHING (thankfully!).
I'm not sure if this helps, but I thought I'd input and hope we all get better asap!

Since posting a couple of months ago, the yellow puss like substance has now disappeared. I haven't taken any meds but I haven't had any sexual intercourse so I dno if that has any relevance. I also stopped smoking weed excessively and someone mentioned that could also be a cause. I hope you guys are also seeing some sort of recovery to that sticky problem, lol.

Went to the doc, he said that it is most likely due to STI/STD (yeast infection). Recommend me to take an injection instead of blood test (because it takes time for the report and $$ and he said it will 100% cure). Took the injection and provide me 3 days of medicine. The next day yellow milky substance stops. Stinging stop the day after, completely healed. I feel so relived :)
BTW, one will also be infected when no sex is involved. I couldn't explain this. It should be due to some bacterial infection. So get your doc check on you.

Sorry I did not ask what injection it was. LoL
But the medicine is ciprofloxacin(Cipquin) 500mg, take 1 tablet 2 times a day after lunch/dinner. There're many brand and what i get is Cipquin.
I took 6 tablets only for 3 days.
Anyways I advice you to go to your doc first before taking it. :)

Hey guys I wanted to let you all know that if you're having problems with burning sensations when you pee, any kind of pus-like discharge, and/or redness or irritation around your penis, it might not have anything to do with a urinary tract infection of an STD. You all should ask your doctors whether or not your prostate could be causing the problem. I recently had a big surgery in my abdominal cavity and during the recovery process I started to have fevers, a bad burning sensation while peeing, and general pains around the lower abdominal area including my penis. After a CT scan it was confirmed that I had some inflammation in my prostate possibly caused by a bacterial infection or some other cause. Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone on here know that even if you had unprotected sex or think you have some sort of urinary tract infection or STD, you may really have a problem with your prostate. Also I'm only 21 so prostate issues can happen at any age not just in older men. So if you've had lots of negative test results for UTI's and STD's, it can't hurt to ask your doctor about possible prostate issues.
