Hi Rachel: There are several reason why you could have had liquid from your breasts, 1 is that you had a sexual dream and thus the liquid coming from them - similar to a boys wet dream! OR that you have an infection in your breasts, quite a few people who have a underactive thyroid get discharge from their breasts! Have you been tired, or lethargic lately? Is your hair thinning, or having skin problems - other than regular teenager problems!? If you have, I would like you to see your doctor about this! I don't want to frighten you honey, but I think you need to have a check up, just to rule out anything going on! Your doctor might send you for an ultrasound on your breasts! If you feel uncomfortable seeing a male doctor, you can call your local womens health centre and ask about a female doctor that is taking patients? Just one thought also, how long have you been menstruating? Good luck and health honey, and please keep me updated OK?

hey, thnx so much u calmed me down. I think it's the first choice that's going on, you see i moved away leaving my boyfriend behind about two months ago and we weren't sexually active but still, we were close... i dont know if that makes sense... I think I'm going to wait to see if it happens during the day or when i wake up, because i dread doctors about this subject...and i just moved and i wudn't know where to begin without having to tell my dad... I got my first period when I was 14. Thanks so much, let me know if you think it's alright to wait. ....also I'm too young for cancer right? because one of the symptoms is discharge right??? thanks :D

Hi Rachel! Just go to your dad and say "Dad I have a female problem and I need to see a doctor!" And also because you are 16, I believe you can call for a doctor yourself! I really don't like people waiting when something is going on! Believe me honey, as soon as your dad hears "Female problems!" this will be him o.O o.O :$ :$ :-D :-D o.O ! :-) And will give you some money and the car keys and your on your own!!!!! ;-) XD XD It is also a good idea - for any young girl - to be followed by a gynecologist just to keep a good record of your sexual health! Good luck and health honey and don't feel embarrassed OK? This is your health, and it is just a sign of your growing maturity for you to be intune with your body and thus your health and well being! Please let me know how you make out OK?

Hi Rachel,
A lot of young people tend to think cancer whenever anything seems to be wrong with them. Usually there are lots of other things that can cause a problem besides cancer, and in some cases it's not really a problem you just don't understand what's happening to you.
You have some good suggestions for what it can be but it's a good idea to see your doctor anyways.
Please let us know how your doctors visit goes. Good luck, Dan
