I took 2 EPT home preganacy tests... the new ones that gives you the words not pregnant or pregnant indication! Well my period was supposed to start atleast yesterday or today. I have been having cramps, but no other signs of my period... I have not ovulated this month either... Could it be? Am I pregnant or is it stress? We have been trying to get pregnant, but my boyfriend doesn't think he can have children, because he had an hernia surgery years ago... Please I need some answers...

Please don't concieve with this fellow. If he truly believes that one can become sterile because of a hernia operation, you may want to question his intelligence and if your future children's at that. Other than that, your symptoms could quite be due to a missed ovulation or no egg being released that month, also due to stress or change in diet. I would get a blood test from the doctor to confirm or deny a pregnancy. Thyroid issues can also cause a missed period. My doctor says that you should question the situation if you would miss 3 consecutive periods. Possible tests on your hormones would be in order at that time. Good Luck.
