Okay ladies! I am very anxious and have a ton of questions (even though I know waiting is the only option right now.)

I have very regular periods. The 24th or 25th is the beginning. Last month, my period came on Christmas Day as expected. My partner and I had unprotected sex on the 13th,14th,and 18th of January. This month, however, it did not come on the 25th. On the night of the 28th, I began pushing to muster up any kind of result. (Sorry,TMI.) I experienced very little bleeding, but it soon stopped for a good three hours afterwards. I began having bleeding again the next morning, however, it was mostly brown with dark red splotches. I have been wearing a tampon throughout the day just in case, but when I take it out there is not nearly as much blood as there usually is during my regular cycle. Phill (my partner), wishes to take a pregnancy test this Sunday the 3rd, just to make sure. Have any of you experienced this type of bleeding and then found out you were pregnant?
